Dirty and frustrating/sad things happened with my tribe and family, which pushed me from studying the Mohegan dead language into something else. There are good things out of this, but the bad thing is all my usage of Mohegan in the comic has been thrown into question.
Anyway, this little lady’s name had to be changed. Before her name meant “Death Lament” but fuck that dead language noise. I’m concentrating on Munsee for a lot of reasons not relevant to this forum, but I will say that I couldn’t find a translation for that so early in my education. So I chose the word for grief and merely translated her other name directly into English.
She needed improvements to make her more, well, her and something I’d thought up, so I’ve been spending a lot of time working on that. Her skirt I made from scratch and put up for sale at Renderhub because the comic paying for itself is a good thing. This (hopefully) final version of her has been animating well so far as I work on this and that.
Another good thing about this backstab is that it drove me to open up old research I’d left behind. This comes back to Akashik because I learned some certain things (or rather, was reminded) and Akashik’s magic system must suffer a complete reset. Death Lament’s appearance will be using it, so I’ve been working hard on this.
Now if I can stop the spite reports on my items at Renderhub, we’ll be golden.
