Yes, 10 Confessions preparations have resumed. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to keep it up, though. But here’s the scoop:

As folks know I’d been planning to quit most of my jobs for a long time so I could concentrated on my own things. I’d been doing it here and there while desperately seeking someone to replace me, but it’s like people don’t want to work. Recently when life got in the way enough to have me turn in some lines for an audio show late… and for some strange reason sales of 10 Confessions chapter 1 have picked up even though it’s not supposed to be available anywhere right now… so I made up my mind. It was time to choose, and I was choosing the arts.

The other half is now the main bread winner in the house – I no longer have to work extra to support him and kids – so I told him what I was going to do. He’s very supportive, so there was no argument from him. (Not that it would have worked. Ha.) And with that for the past week I have 1. announced that I was no longer taking commissions except for select clients who already have a list with me. It’s my hope that as I finish with them, they’ll drop away and find other artists. 2. Opened the 10 Confessions files and went back to work. 3. Set about trying to decide how much time a week I’m going to give to things. 3. And wrote on Demonkeeper, of course. 4. Set about looking into upgrading my voice over skills, because I seriously want to do that part time. Only part time, though. I have a plan. That plan will involve not working a billion hours a week as in the past.

The peril with working on character development for any of the comics is that I get stuck on tiny details with the models and don’t walk away. =^-^= Orcus here is complete way ahead of schedule. So I am forcing myself to walk away for now! WALKING AWAY!!!! I think… um… well there’s this thing with the outline that needs to be looked at first….

I’m still going to be busy, alas! But if I can learn to say now I’ll be able to bring things to a fun level and finally get to tell the stories in my head. And finish them.

Maybe I’ll offer prints of this one. Maybe.
