Other Half ™ managed to cobble the computer together and I’m back online… but yes. It’s S-L-O-W compared to how fast things were. It only has 4 cores, after all, and most of what I do apparently depends on how many cores I have.
I’d say maybe someday I’d buy a faster CPU, but that’s laughable at this age. I’ve learned better. I’ve got so many other things going on, from the city deciding I don’t live at my house anymore and trying to cancel my house insurance to horrible neighbors calling me a bitch from their porch for having the audacity to call for my cat to get her back inside. (She remains missing btw.) Oh, and my brandnew car is blown which means I’m going to miss work that I’d been preparing to go to for months. Weeee!
The bright side is I finally, slowly, have managed to get the next page done. That’s going to post in a bit here. You guys are Pups; you get to see it. But on the website I’m… sigh… gonna hold a fundraiser.
On the bright side I haven’t held one in years. But again. It’s laughable at this age.
