Well guys the new computer arrived. I ended up spending all day driving into the city which is over an hour away to try to get someone to help me put the old card into the new computer, and then I ended up working with the guy to figure it out as we treated it like it was a school experiment. And I almost got offered a job. It has been a frustrating day though I am not ashamed to admit that at one point I burst into tears because it’s been a year of this.
Anyway it’s up and running. I have no idea if it can run anything that I need because it refuses to connect to the internet. After all these years now that it’s important super really important, the no networks found error has decided to be a problem for me. I have tried two different dongles, my husband and I troubleshooted for 5 hours we have tried everything. I just can’t seem to win for losing. It seems like it would be fast but how would I know I can’t install anything. So I can’t even install things to work while hoping to get on the net or transferring my driver or anything. I hate the cloud and I hate computers. I miss the days when we would just hand type on typewriters.
