This time I’m not marking this one a secret, as I would like to let *some* things leak….
I know it’s similar art to the last post. I’m not out to make original pieces at the moment. I’m only tweaking elements. All of the characters for this short are developed and I’m down to deciding on how the environment will look. The stars in the last image are nice, but I realized it didn’t look right with the overall theme. So now I am toying with something a bit more realistic.
This short story will probably go into the next Heavenly Bride chapter book as an extra even though it’s not really related… and I might put out a limited number of trashcans of it through Kickstarter or something. I honestly don’t expect it to receive much acclaim as a work of genius or anything. But I’m probably going through your usual artistic “my stuff sucks” moment.
What about your other stuff? you may ask. Working on this thing also forces me to hunt down (and repurchase) PSP brushes, props, etc as I go. It kind of sucks having to build 10 Confessions from the start up again. Heavenly Bride wasn’t hit as hard, but it was still hit. The plus side, the big plus side, is while working on things I have come across another technique to improve art and work flow. I look forward to getting back to the regular stories, even if HB is slightly boring.
I notice that patreon has a podast feature. If that’s something I can set up so you can hear the audio book in progress as a podcast, I may just do that.
Either way, it’s time for me to hit the hay and walk away from this for a day or three. I’m not done working for the man just yet, alas.
