So a RAM stick died. The computer already couldn’t handle my graphics programs – that’s why I’m stuck to a halt – and now it’s even worse. At least I can type to you again since I performed an emergency extraction, but man. Man. MAN!
I’m trying to get a new old computer. I hate these new-ish ones. I don’t care how wonderful they’re supposed to be. In 12 months I’ve gotten next to nothing done because of this computer here. This is ridiculous, and I can’t keep allowing computer snobbery to get in my way. I had the glimmerings of a job again dammit. Things were looking good.
I’m looking to go backwards, and it looks like by doing that I might be able to get something even faster than what I had before for under $400.
It’s the $400 that’s the problem. (sighs in broke)

two (2) 2.1 Gig 16 core processors. (Is that enough? That might not be enough!!!!) – Intel Zion E5 (It has to be intel because of DAZ. I can use other brands but DAZ is affiliated with Intel, and I need the best connection for it.)
two (2) 16 Gig RAM – maybe I’ll shoot for 4 of them?
No hard drive. I intend to just move it over.
two (2) gig generic video card to appease the video card tax. I intend to move my video cards over. I have two in this PC with an adapter to tie them.
Or rather I may to get help to do all that.
I miss working on things creative.
