While waiting for the next panel of Akashik to render (siiiiiiiigh) I thought I’d post this little song about an escape through the forest. I’d written it for #FAWM 2024 and wanted to learn more about mixing and compression, so took a couple of days to work on it… would have taken LESS time but there was this one day that literally I was tag teamed on the phone for HOURS. Anyhoo, hive mind, let me ask you a question. I have a HP Z440, refurbished, with 4 ram. Not 12, 16, 32, or anything that I would actually need to work on 3D or even just painting a picture. … 4. This computer is so weak I can’t record for more than a couple of minutes, and recording is far less brain intensive.
When it was given to me (and yes, I am grateful), I was told it took special new RAM. Even though the CPU is also extremely weak, I thought maybe more RAM would help because not working on the comics is REALLY BEGINNING TO CRIMP MY DAMN STYLE. I did a quick internet search and found that other people are also confused on what RAM to buy.
I know some of you have good machine chops. Can you.. eeeh.. point me to where I gotta go?
