I gave it my all: bought more up to date hosting and prepared to move the websites. The Heavenly Bride is already gone in a way that creepily reminds me of The Neverending Story with The Nothing, and I know I’m racing against time to protect Akashik.
But the websites would not be moved. I tried everything. I haven’t slept in 2 days; my voice is hoarse from calling tech support repeatedly. I have literally spent hours on the phone with no help.
“You can pay us to move the site,” they’d say to me.
“Yes,” I’d respond. “Please move Akashik. I can rebuild the rest.”
Yet they never would put the order in to do it. Well I didn’t have $600 or so to move the entire shabang. I just wanted Akashik moved. But no dice.
To be fair a couple of the tech support people really tried. Then there were the ones who didn’t want to, of course. But some did try.
Now I’m stuck on these out of date servers, and Akashik is on life support. And there’s nothing anyone can do from here. I’m not rich. Most webcomic artists are not rich. I can’t fix this.
